Families are vital to Pasadena Covenant because spiritual formation begins in the home. We seek to support you and your kids by providing quality programs and opportunities for parents and children to connect with God, our church community, and the broader world. There are many ways for children and families to connect at PCC.

Our Mission

Encouraging families and children in their relationships with God
Fostering community with each other
Equipping for service in the broader community and the world

Sunday Morning Opportunities

Nursery

10:25 a.m.-11:45 a.m.  Nursery

The youngest members of our church family learn about God's love in simple ways:  through a warm and caring welcome, a gentle hug, a laugh, a smile.

Two- & Three-Year-Olds

10:25 a.m.-11:45 p.m.  Ground Floor, Preschool Building

2's & 3's begin their time in the Godly Play Story Room.  Godly play is an interactive, hands-on storytelling program that emphasizes worship, wonder, and expriencing God's presence.  After the story they return to their classroom for snack, crafts and free play.

Worship Service

10:30 a.m.  Ground Floor, Sanctuary

We strive to be a multigenerational church, singing a mix of contemporary songs and hymns and finding ways for all generations to seek and experience God together. Children four years old through fifth grade are encouraged to participate in the worship service for the first 30 minutes and then are invited to participate in age-appropriate classes.

Pre-K & Kindergarten

11:00 a.m.-11:45 p.m.  Second Floor, Preschool Building

After dismissal from the worship service, kids four and five years old go the Godly Play Story Room.  Godly Play, is an interactive, hands-on storytelling program that emphasizes worship, wonder, and experiencing God's presence.  After the story they go to their classrooms to follow up on the story through crafts and games.

Club 145 (1st-5th grade)

11:00 a.m.-11:45 p.m.  Second Floor, Carlson Hall

After dismissal from the worship service, kids in grades one through five have a fun and interactive time, discussing and asking questions about our faith and engaging in lots of hands-on crafts, games and other activities.  Their time together includes both large group Bible study and small group follow-up.

During the Week

Children's Choir (1st-7th grade)

Rehearsals (during the school year): Mondays, 5:30-6:45 p.m. Choir Room

The Pasadena Covenant Children's Choir sings monthly on Sunday mornings and performs a musical in the spring. During rehearsals, children learn singing technique, xylophone and other percussion instrument parts, music reading and sight-singing, and play music games. The choir is open to all children in grades 1 through 7, including those from the community. It is not necessary to attend Pasadena Covenant--all are welcome!
